Overview
Mr. Taleghany dedicates his practice to the defense of health care providers, including medical and dental malpractice, professional liability, as well as catastrophic personal injury and other complex litigation matters in both state and federal courts.
Mr. Taleghany has extensive experience defending physicians and dental professionals in virtually every specialty and subspecialty, both in litigation as well as before the Texas Medical Board and Texas State Board of Dental Examiners. He has handled numerous alleged malpractice cases dealing with a broad range of medical and dental issues, including wrongful death, birth injuries, surgical errors, failure to diagnose, misdiagnosis, and neurological injures. Mr. Taleghany also defends claims against assisted living facilities and nursing homes.
Prior to joining Brown Sims, Mr. Taleghany began his legal career as an Assistant District Attorney with the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, where he gained valuable trial experience prosecuting criminal matters in misdemeanor and felony courts. Thereafter, he worked at a highly regarded boutique firm for more than 10 years defending healthcare providers in all areas of medicine and dentistry.
Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
