Overview
Mr. Cenac is an experienced litigator specializing in admiralty and maritime law, professional liability, and commercial insurance defense. Mr. Cenac has handled many complex cases and secured notable victories in federal and state courts in Texas and Louisiana, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
At Tulane Law School, Mr. Cenac earned the Class of 2012 Dean’s Scholarship and served as the president of the Tulane Law School Disability and Health Law Society. He was awarded membership to the prestigious Order of Barristers and interned for the Honorable Richard T. Haik at the United States District Court for the Western District of Louisiana.
Following law school, Mr. Cenac served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable Jay C. Zainey in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana.
Mr. Cenac is an aggressive litigator who has secured numerous victories for his clients both through motion practice and oral advocacy. Mr. Cenac has handled jury trials, bench trials, administrative hearings, and appeals ranging in topics from products defect to premises liability, legal and medical malpractice to longshore and construction defect, among many others.
Mr. Cenac formerly served as the Co-Chair of the Louisiana State Bar Association’s Legal Services for Persons with Disabilities Committee.
Mr. Cenac lives with his wife and two children in The Woodlands, Texas.
