Ms. Barr’s practice focuses primarily on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and Defense Base Act (DBA).

While in law school, Ms. Barr served as an executive comment and note editor for the New England Law Review. She was also published in the New England Law Review in 2019.

Before joining Brown Sims, Ms. Barr worked at a workers’ compensation law firm defending insurance companies and employers in workers’ compensation cases.
