As a summer associate at Brown Sims, you won’t just be observing—you’ll be actively contributing. From conducting legal research and drafting pleadings to attending depositions, hearings, and mediations, you’ll gain firsthand experience in the litigation process. Our goal is to ensure that you leave the program with tangible skills, real-world exposure, and a deeper understanding of what it means to practice law at our firm.

Each year, the Judge John R. Brown Scholarship Foundation awards the Brown Award in recognition of Excellence in Legal Writing in American Law Schools. Brown Sims is honored to have served as the Foundation’s home since 1993.
