Ms. Barr’s practice focuses primarily on the defense of claims arising under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act (LHWCA) and Defense Base Act (DBA).

Ms. Barr earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Rhodes College in 2015. In 2020, Ms. Barr earned her Juris Doctor from New England Law | Boston. While in law school, she served as an Executive Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law Review. She was also published in the New England Law Review in 2019. Before joining Brown Sims, Ms. Barr worked at a workers’ compensation law firm defending insurance companies and employers in workers’ compensation cases.
