Emma Russell is a remote associate at the firm’s Houston office. Ms. Russell’s practice focuses primarily on the defense claims arising under the Defense Base Act as an extension of the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.
She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Pre-Law minor in 2020 from Grove City College. In 2023, she earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kentucky College of Law. During law school, Ms. Russell was a member of the moot court team. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as a law clerk for the Kentucky Public Pensions Authority where she worked on disability claims involving individuals throughout the state of Kentucky.
Ms. Russell was admitted to the Kentucky Bar in May 2024. She is actively seeking license transfer to the Alabama Bar.
